1.  Spelt Porridge

For a power breakfast eat cooked cracked spelt porridge; this century old tradition is said to produce the Southern Germans' proverbial productivity and good humor.  This spelt breakfast provides the body with all essentials for a healthy life: vital protein, valuable carbohydrates, healthy fat, it is high in vitamins and especially high in minerals which protect our bodies from stress-caused over-acidity and infection. Spelt contains rhodanide, a natural growth stimulator, that regenerates nerve-, blood-, bone- and immune cells.

Scientific studies prove that rhodanide protects the cellular walls from carcinogenic elements.  With this spelt cereal you have a survival tool, which so far has brought strength and health to thousands, even in hopeless situations.  Regularly enjoying a whole grain breakfast lowers the risk of obesity, age-related diabetes and cardiovascular diseases by 35 - 50%.

Spelt porridge for 2-4 persons:

1 cup coarsly-ground spelt, spelt flakes or spelt farina
2 cups of water
raisins or cranberries, if desired
2 apples, cut
2 tsp. honey, brown sugar or maple syrup,
3 dashes of Galangal and pellitory
sweet almond slivers
1 tsp. cinnamon
